Single Event Licenses (SEL) FAQ
- Athletes who do not hold a racing license who wish to participate in events may do so under certain circumstances.
- Athletes may purchase up to three SELs in a season.
- Single Event licenses are generally offered at CX, MTB, ITT and Timed Track events.
- Mountain Bikes Races; SELs are applicable to any ability category
- Cyclocross Races; SELs are restricted to Novice Category and Sport Women
- Road + Track Events; SELs restricted to individually timed events only. Not available for mass start races.
- Provincial Championship policy regarding SELs: athletes may compete at MTB, Track, ITT or CX events under a SEL but do not qualify for a Provincial Championship podium.
