Welcome to HopOn!
Alberta Bicycle Association is pleased to offer 1-day HopOn Summer Camps in July and August in Calgary at North Glenmore Park parking lot B.
HopOn is designed for kids who already know how to ride and wish to advance their bicycle skills (Skill Level 2-3 - view details). This one day, fun-focused youth biking camp is for riders ages 10–14 (calculated by age on December 31st, 2026). The program helps young riders build confidence, improve technique, and progress their skills on all terrain. This program will run from 9am until 3pm.
Through HopOn-certified coaching, hands-on instruction, and skill-based games, participants develop key biking skills such as bike control, braking, cornering, and trail awareness. Our experienced coaches create a safe, supportive, and fun environment that encourages teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong love of biking. We conduct a skill assessment at the start of the day to best match riders with ability-based peers and friends. The program is led by Sam Hargreaves and a team of NCCP-certified, HopOn-trained instructors. If you have questions, please email events@albertabicycle.ca before registering.
