Dear Stakeholder:
RE: Southwest Edmonton Transportation Projects
The City of Edmonton is working on three transportation related projects in southwest Edmonton and
will host a public information session on November 29 to share more details. The three projects include:
● Capital Line South LRT Extension
● Heritage Valley Park and Ride
● 135 Street/Anthony Henday Drive Connection
The Capital Line South LRT Extension will run from the current Century Park Station to Ellerslie Road. It
will connect to the Heritage Valley Park and Ride located at the northwest corner of Ellerslie Road and
127 Street. We are looking for input from the public on this project.
The new 135 Street connection to Anthony Henday Drive will replace the existing access to Anthony
Henday Drive at 127 Street. It will also provide transit access from the Heritage Valley Park and Ride to
Anthony Henday Drive.
Please plan to attend our upcoming public information session to learn about these projects. City
representatives will be in attendance to provide information and answer project specific questions.
Date: November 29, 2017
Time: Drop-in 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: Ellerslie Rugby Park Hall
11004 Ellerslie Road
